New Zealand technology training provider, Auldhouse, will offer courses in Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure, saying the move will make it the first local training provider to deliver regularly scheduled AWS courses in the South Island.
Auldhouse managing director, Melanie Hobcraft said AWS securing a New Zealand whole-of-government agreement in May would increase demand for AWS certified professionals.
Auldhouse is offering a one-day AWS fundamentals course, and three, three-day AWS associate level certification courses: AWS solutions architect; AWS systems operations administrator; AWS developer. It says these will prepare students for the AWS associate-level certification exam, which they will be able to sit at Auldhouse
Hobcraft said: "Auldhouse is an authorised testing centre for official AWS exam testing partners Kryterion and PSI Services. Our customers can do their training with us and then return to the same location for their exams.
The first Auldhouse AWS courses start in November at training centres in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, and will also be offered online through Auldhouse's online training service Auldhouse Anywhere.
AWS training is also offered in New Zealand by Bespoke Training Services, which was appointed an AWS training partner in 2014.
