If confidence is all in sporting endeavours it’s just as true when it comes to populating a database.
The second stage of the Landonline project, allowing surveyors and solicitors to create and amend land records online from their offices, has experienced a few teething problems during the first 10 days of its month-long Christchurch-based pilot, says manager Terry Jackson.
Landonline uses the BeTRUSTed digital certificate system, run by audit company PricewaterhouseCoopers, so internet-enabled land information project will not be affected by the rolling back of Baycorp's ID division.
Users of Landonline will be required to use digital certificates even if they are only conducting title searches, once the second stage, known as CRS2, comes on stream.
Landonline has gained its first export sale.
The company handling Linz’s Landonline project, EDS, monitors the project’s progress with a so-called service excellence dashboard.
