FX Networks grew its revenue by 67 percent in the financial year to the end of March, from $25.8 million the previous year to $43 million.
FX Networks has posted a reduced profit for the March 31 2010 year. This, says managing director Murray Jurgeleit, is largely due to a pause in buying by dark fibre customers because of lack of clarity in government plans for ultra fast broadband, as well as the rural broadband initiative.
FX Networks chief executive Murray Jurgeleit says communications and IT minister Steven Joyce’s announcement yesterday of a $300 million rural broadband initiative is a positive development.
