Oracle snags CFO from Accenture

Harry You, the chief financial officer (CFO) at IT services company Accenture, has resigned to become CFO of Oracle, the companies said Tuesday.

You replaces Jeff Henley, who had been Oracle's CFO for 13 years. Henley was made chairman of Oracle in January and said at the time that he would step down as CFO when a replacement was found. Larry Ellison remains Oracle's chief executive officer.

You became CFO of Accenture in June 2001, a month before it launched an initial public offering. Prior to that he held senior management posts at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers Inc., Oracle said in a statement.

Separately Tuesday, Accenture said it had reappointed Michael McGrath as its CFO following You's resignation. McGrath held the CFO spot for Accenture from 1997 to 2001, when You replaced him. Since then he has been chairman of Accenture's capital committee and its chief risk officer, Accenture said in a statement.
